THERMAL CERAMICS’ Kaolite 2000-Li castable meets both strength and thermal properties needed for highperformance linings. The strength-todensity ratio of the product is in the range of 11-12 psi/pcf, 10 times higher than the typical super lightweight castable. Kaolite 2000 Li also has a low iron-oxide content so it can be used in carbonizing furnaces or where high concentrations of CO gas are present.
